In honor of the late Doris Day we are screening this fun
1957 musical just like when it screened at the Acadia Cinema when it opened. FREE ENTRY IF YOU COME IN YOUR PAJAMAS!! Our own Al Whittle tells the story of the young ladies sneaking out of the dorms wearing their pajamas hidden under their coats!
And wait til you see the show stopping Bob Fosse choreography for Steam Heat!
Employees of the Sleeptite Pajama Factory are looking for a whopping seven-and-a-half cent an hour increase and they won't take no for an answer. Babe Williams is their feisty employee representative but she may have found her match in shop superintendent Sid Sorokin. When the two get together they wind up discussing a whole lot more than job actions!
