A public lecture focusing on civility in the workplace and job burnout. Attendees will become acquainted with state of the art research on improving civility at work. Research results from a three-year study by Dr. Michael Leiter and associates will be presented, and a key note address will be given by Dr. Christina Maslach, professor of psychology at the University of California at Berkeley, a pioneer researcher on job burnout. The conference is appropriate for anyone with an interest in civility in the workplace. These lectures are part of a larger 2-day conference on civility.
