Acadia Interns AUCC Presentations (Students for Development).
2010 International Education Week
Acadia students who spent the summer as interns overseas will make a series of presentations. Funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and administered Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC). Acadia received 7 internships for undergraduate students this year. Coordinated by Dr. Marsh Conley, retired Professor of Political Science, this Acadia program has run for the past 5 years. Each student spent three months overseas before returning to studies. Two were with the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative in New Delhi, India The students will share their experiences about their internships and will make presentations about their time in India and Ghana.
