The Annapolis Valley Honour Choir and Kings Chorale Children’s Chorus will present their holiday concert, “This Shining Night”. Tickets are available at the door, or Pharmasave locations in Kingston and Wolfville.
More than 80 young voices will be led by conductors Heather Fraser and Shannon Young in this uplifting holiday program. Music includes beautiful classics by composers Barber and Fauré, Hannukah songs, and other festive favorites. Acadia University organist, John Scott, will also join the choirs. During the intermission audience members will be offered shortbreads and cider.
The Annapolis Valley Honour Choir is an instructional music program for students in grades 7 through 12 from the catchment area of the Annapolis Valley School Board. It emphasizes musical and vocal training through choral music and exists to enrich the artistic lives of its members, their families and communities.
