Deep Roots Music Coop presents a Bringin' it Home Concert Series. Singer/Songwriter Circle: Mike Le Lievre, Carleton Stone and Kristina Trites
Mike Le Lievre is best known as Slowcoaster’s bass player. With infectious and captivating lyrics, the Cape Breton trio spent the past ten years infiltrating the Canadian live music scene and firmly established themselves as one of the country’s most popular jam rock bands. Mike Le Lievre joins Carleton Stone and Kristina Trites to showcase his music.
Carleton Stone has been making waves as the front man for Carleton Stone Drives The Big Wheel. His debut self-titled album garnered an 2010 East Coast Music Award nomination and has been well received by music fans and critics from all across Canada.
Kristina Trites is a singer-songwriter who began her career by picking up the guitar when she was 12 years old and within a week after learning her first few chords, wrote her first song. Since then, Kristina has worked with some of Canada’s finest producers and songwriters, garnering interest both locally and across North America. With her powerful raspy voice and strong guitar playing, Kristina looks forward to sharing her songs with the East Coast and beyond!
