As we move inside our journey to understand truths of our past and honour and accept those truths we look for ways to express our deep grief, acknowledge our acceptance of these truths and begin a journey towards reconciliation through answering the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's calls to action.

Call to Action No. 80 from the the Truth and Reconciliation Commission urges “upon the federal government, in collaboration with Aboriginal peoples, to establish, as a statutory holiday, a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to honour Survivors, their families, and communities.
To honour the Mi'kmaw Community we welcome all to gather and participate in a Healing Circle on Thursday, September 30th at 6PM.
"Ceremonies have a huge impact in Mi'kmaq culture and day to day lives. From communicating with ancestors spirits, cleansing of negative energies. Solving problems in an open judgement free way. Lightening troubles, They are also benefiting , and so helpful ."Mi'kmaq Ceremonies By: Mallory Warren
