The Annapolis Royal Legion will host a BBQ & Bake Sale Benefit for Morgan and Janice Salsman, with live music all day long!
With their restaurant Bistro East, they hired local people, paid local taxes, and contributed to the local economy for more than 15 years. They have always given freely of their time and money for fundraising activities in the community.
Now they need our support.
As most of you know, the house they were building on the Spurr Road caught on fire during a torrential wind and rain storm on April 19th.
Although the house looks okay on the outside, inside it is blackened and burnt by the fire. Most windows, flooring, the walls, all need to be gutted and replaced.
Janice is 7 months pregnant with a baby girl and this has been very difficult for her to deal with during this late stage of her pregnancy.
They are devastated both emotionally and financially.
Let’s gather around Janice and Morgan and show them our love and support! Any donation, no matter small, would be greatly appreciated.
