CARDBOARD CONSTRUCTION: An introduction to puppet building!
Sat. Nov. 26 & Sun. Nov. 27 from 10am-12:30pm
Puppeteers Laura Stinson and Ian McFarlane will facilitate this workshop that involves sculpting, weaving, wiring, cutting, stringing and stapling cardboard to make puppets and masks. These techniques are used to make both small and large scale puppet structures that are finished with cardboard mache. In two x 2.5 hour sessions participants will be led through puppet building techniques from design to use. Please Note: This workshop involves the use of sharp tools.
