Wolfville Active Living is hosting a bicycle safety workshop. This family oriented, one day workshop is a great way to prepare both you and your family for the upcoming cycling season. Topics covered include: pre-ride bicycle safety checks, proper helmet fitting, and the fundamentals of road safety. The cycling safety workshop will be followed in the afternoon by a cycling skills workshop and group ride. Cycling techniques taught include: riding stance, cadence, gearing, cornering, emergency manoeuvres and more. Participants are required to bring a helmet, bicycle, and wear comfortable clothes for cycling.

A $5 family fee includes morning safety instruction and afternoon riding session. Bring your own lunch. Families of all riding skill levels are welcome!
So come out and prepare yourself for a safe and fun cycling season.

Register by calling the Wolfville Recreation Centre. A limited number of community bikes will be available to borrow- please reserve in advance.
