OPENED BY LYNNEA ROSE
Charming her way into the hearts of folk, Americana and country fans alike, maritime songstress Lynnea Rose has graced audiences from coast to coast, sharing with them her beautiful voice, heartfelt songwriting and genuine stage presence. Since the release of her self titled debut album in 2013, Lynnea Rose has toured across Canada multiple times, has had her music featured on internationally acclaimed TV show Hope for Wildlife, and has earned herself a Music NS Award Nomination for her sophomore album “Rocking Chair”. Born and raised in Granville Beach, Nova Scotia as an eighth generation Armstrong, it’s easy to hear where her musical inspirations lie.
A FUNDRAISER FOR THE PORT ROYAL LIGHTHOUSE: The lighthouse at Port Royal is a national historic landmark. It has watching over the waters of the Annapolis Basin and keeping mariners safe for 137 years…but now the lighthouse needs our help! Major repairs are desperately needed including replacing rotten corner posts, resheathing, new shingles and paint, replacing broken windowpanes, restoring the catwalk and other repairs. For the full story, visit their website.
King’s Theatre is committed to making live performances accessible to all audiences. If cost is a barrier please contact our Box Office for Bursary Tickets: boxoffice@kingstheatre.ca or 902-532-7704.
