The exhibition will be on view from July 6 - December 10, 2023.

Summer hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 12-4pm.

'Do you Know Your ABC's?' takes inspiration from alphabet books as a way to explore highlights of the permanent collection at Acadia. Established in 1978, the Acadia University Art Gallery has a permanent collection of over 3,000 art objects. The exhibition presents well-known artists from the collection, such as Alex Colville and Mary Pratt, alongside rarely exhibited objects from the collection, such as portrait miniatures and Chinese silks. In addition the exhibition includes recent acquisitions of BIPOC artists, including Kent Monkman, Robert Houle and Deanna Bowen.

'Do you know your ABC's?' explores the collection as a living entity: a place for dialogue, discourse and discovery.
