Peter J Clair, a Mi'kmaq writer, from Elsipogtog, N. B., wrote the book Taapoategl and Pallet: A Mi'kmaq Journey of Loss and Survival. It was awarded the Mrs. Dunster's Fiction Prize (2018) by the New Brunswick Book Awards which is co-sponsored and co-administered by the Writers' Federation of New Brunswick and The Fiddlehead: Atlantic Canada's International Literary Journal. He will read from this book, new writings, and tell stories. And in light of sharing and learning, he will do the reading all in the Mi'kmaq language.

The title 'Egiltjet tan gigtjo Pôgamateg - Reading near where the thunder bolt was thrown' is in reference to the Blomidon and Glooscap story.

Ages 18+. Registration is required.
