Learn to recognize and appreciate the beauty within the natural world through the visual arts. This week-long camp will contain a combination of conservation games, outdoor discovery and art creation. Environmental art will be created and displayed in the Gardens to encourage stewardship and to raise awareness of habitat conservation issues within the Acadian Forest Region.

This camp will be facilitated by artist Terry Drahos. Drahos’s approach to art is intuitive and spontaneous. Known primarily for her vibrant paintings, she occasionally works in other media such as sculpture and installation. Her work often examines social identity and perceptions. Drahos has exhibited nationally, and is the recipient of numerous educational grants and awards
