Justice Jamboree
Sunday October 1, 2023  2pm - 4pm (2 Hours)
Music Family Friendly Dog Friendly Outdoor Community

Building the future we want in Kings & having some fun doing it because we know there is nothing like the power of community, conversation & song to build momentum for transformative, compassionate change! We are excited about our upcoming Justice Jamboree event hosted in Wolfville to bring together diverse perspectives and stories around a local justice moment here in the region! Fun for all - tell your friends and neighbours.

Join us for a rousing, energizing gathering around local justice in the region!
Bring a camp chair or blanket and a mug if desired!

We want to know what justice looks, sounds, feels like in Kings County and our communities. What can we do together to collaborate for a better future?

Come listen to music, hear speeches, participate in community activities, get resources, enjoy snacks, play lawn games, sensory items and resources (noise-cancelling headphones, fidget items, etc), and more!

A fantastic line-up to warm up our hearts and minds for local justice work:
David Mangle - welcome and music
Sandy-Lynn Fisher and family - Mi'kmaq welcome and music
Emily Levy-Purdy and Ian Purdy - songs
Wendy Elliott - Women of Wolfville and thinking about local feminist work
