Harvey Marcotte is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Bear River. Harvey grew up in a French community in Rhode Island and was encouraged by musical parents at an early age to learn to sing and play various instruments. By the time he was 15, Harvey was playing guitar and singing harmonies in a folk trio with his sister and one of their friends. Harvey was a member of the world famous Acadian band Blou before embarking on a solo career. He is an impressive guitar, fiddle and mandolin player, accomplished in both traditional and modern folk styles.
