Every year, Dooly's locations across the Maritimes work hard to fundraise for School Breakfast Programs in their communities through the careful planning and execution of a variety of events, promotions, and other community involvement objectives. In 2023, Dooly's corporate locations were proud to raise more than $67,000 for this cause; an incredible feat that is the direct result of the generosity of our community members. Dooly's Greenwood strives to reach our fundraising goal year after year, and in 2024 we are working towards reaching a new record for our location.
In pursuit of our goal, the staff of Dooly's Greenwood will be holding a community ticket auction on April 20, 2024. All of the proceeds from this event, in addition to all other funds we raise throughout the year, will be donated to local elementary schools at the end of this calendar year to provide nourishing food for their Breakfast Programs. In addition to the ticket auction, we will be conducting a 50/50 draw at this event as well as drawing for a door prize from Dooly's Greenwood. We will be collecting non-perishable and allergen-free breakfast food donations at the door in exchange for an entry into the door prize draw. Food items will be donated directly to the schools.
Auction items donated from local businesses include gift certificates, home items, handmade Nova Scotia art, and more! Tickets for auction items are $2 each, 3 for $5, or 10 for $10. Draws will be conducted at 5pm after the event closes & winners will be contacted.
Please note, as we are a licensed establishment, attendees of this event must be 19 years of age or older. We are collecting donations until April 18. If you or your company wish to contribute, please contact us at greenwood@doolys.ca or 902-765-6703.
