This is an educational talk to help prospective electric car buyers and other interested persons understand the pros and cons of owning an electric vehicle.
 
This presentation will allow you to:
• Talk to an electric vehicle owner.
• Understand the new lingo. (BEV, ICE, kWh, EVSE, etc.)
• Appreciate new e-car features. (one-pedal driving, frunk, dog mode, etc.)
• Get useful websites to do your own research.
• Know what an e-car will really cost.
• Select a model that meets your needs.
• Understand the massive on-going changes in the auto industry.

The presenter is Henry Hoeksma, a retired computer professional who has owned an electric car for five years and studied them for ten years. Henry is not affiliated with any car company, dealer, automobile organization, or website.

Everyone is welcome; there is no admission fee. It takes about 1½ hours to cover all of the material but you may ask questions and leave early if you do not have the time.
