Show your love and join the HIKE FOR HOSPICE-Annapolis Valley
On May 7 we will proudly join others across Canada for the annual Hike for Hospice. Our Hike Day will start at 12:30 at the KCA School in Kentville. There will be music and a BBQ. A 5 Km Hike along the historic rail-bed starts at 1:45 pm followed by refreshments and prizes.

This year the Valley’s Hike for Hospice will help to support a planned approach for volunteer involvement in Hospice Palliative Care - in our community and in our future Hospice.
Volunteers are vital members of the hospice palliative care team. It is with special training and on-going education that they are able to spend their time supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community. The dedication and support shown by volunteers is one reason palliative care is so widely regarded as compassionate care.
