This year ThinkFARM is hosting two Small Farm Expos – one in Antigonish and one in Lawrencetown!
The Lawrencetown event will be hosted at the Annapolis County Exhibition on July 31 and will include a livestock and horticulture stream delivered by experienced farmers and production experts!
The Livestock stream will include sessions on live evaluation of market animals (beef, sheep and hogs), and an on-farm visit for pasture management and beef production. The Horticulture stream will include an on-farm vineyard management session as well as sessions on pest control in vegetable and berry production, irrigation management and market gardening.
