Join us for this King’s Theatre Fundraiser with beloved singer-songwriter Susan Crowe and a great mix of local talent. This will be a fun night to celebrate our community and help support the theatre.

Susan was the 2009 Canadian Folk Music Awards English songwriter of the year and has been nominated for two Juno Awards. She is a long-time friend of King’s Theatre and generously donating her time and talents to support the theatre. We are thrilled to have her back on our stage!

Harvey Marcotte is a folk-roots singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Bear River.

Jane Seary and Cripple Creek:
Jane Seary: vocals, Bob Peck: rhythm guitar, Michael Donnelly: lead acoustic guitar and banjo, Harold Clapp: electric bass
Jane Seary and Cripple Creak are local musicians focusing on original music with an eclectic number of influences including folk, pop and rock.

Theresa Lynn Porter: Rhythm Guitar/Vocals, Mike Donnelly: Lead Guitar, Harold Clapp: Bass Guitar
Theresa Lynn Porter’s sings everything from wartime favorites to classic rock, new country to old jazz and blues. Mike Donnelly has been playing since he was a teen and is a wealth of knowledge about singers, songwriters and music styles. Harold Clapp started playing guitar in Quebec sixty years ago and bought his Hofner Beatle Bass at a dance in northern Manitoba in the early seventies.

James Stevenson Blues Band
James plays guitar with ease and grace in many genres from country, gospel to jazz. He has been recognized for his capabilities by a wide variety of audience at many events over the years. Born into a musical family in Annapolis Royal in 1940, he taught himself to play guitar at the age of 13. “I started on a beat-up guitar and played it until there was only one string was left,” he said. “And then I played on that string until there was nothing left.”
