A talk by Dr. Josh Farley. He is a renowned ecological economist whose work focuses on how to integrate social, human, and natural capital into economic systems. How might an economy balance what is biophysically possible with what is socially, psychologically, and ethically desirable? He is a Fellow of the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics and a Professor in the Community Development and Applied Economics faculty at the University of Vermont. His work is widely published and he is known for co-authoring the foundational textbook in the field: Ecological Economics: Principles and Applications with Herman Daley. The talk is presented by the Departments of Environmental and Sustainability Studies, Economics, Community Development and Earth & Environmental Science at Acadia University.
