Come to the farm and let your paradigm slide! A blend of old-fashioned country fun with modern ideals. Ambassadors are wanted to help facilitate the fun for our Delegate guests traveling from Halifax for this local extravaganza.
Delegate pricing includes a chartered school bus from downtown Halifax straight to the Coop and home again at the end of the evening.
Ambassador and Delegate tickets include a complete Pig Roast meal served at the Coop to be enjoyed indoors or outdoors. The meal includes Pork, Apple Sauce, Dressing, Potato Salad, 2 pasta salads, coleslaw, roll, apple pie desert and coffee/tea.
After the meal the Rockabilly Ensemble, Filly and the Flops (from Montreal) will have us grooving to their swing!
Steve Lalla writes, "Combining elements of rockabilly, '50s rock'n'roll and doo-wop to generate a vintage 1950s vibe, Montreal's Filly & The Flops fly through a dozen spirited tracks for a debut full-length album. The voice of singer Felicity Hamer sports the conventional cutesy throat twinge prevalent in the rockabilly genre, while the chemistry of bassist E.B. Eaton and drummer Eric Thibodeau forms the backbone of the five-piece band's fast-paced, kitschy sound."
