Kenny Bryka, Ryan Dillman, and Alberta Brown take the stage at the North Mountain Meeting House (Clarence Church) for two hours full of Bluegrass, Classic Country, Country Rock, and Folk Music. A concert full of local talent, for a local cause, funds raised go towards refurbishment of the historic, registered heritage property housing the concert. Kenny Bryka was originally scheduled to play, however, due to a recent illness he will not be attending; Dan Froese will be filling in for Bryka.

Dan Froese - Dan picked up a violin for the first time over 30 years ago. For some unknown reason, at 6 years old, he begged his parents for a chance to play the violin. They weren’t sure at first, but he didn’t give up asking. Still remembering the day he was led into the sun-porch to find his first little violin, little did he know that it would become such a meaningful part of his life.
After many years of study and a variety of contexts, the music carries on. Dan loves to play, compose, and improvise music; leaning toward both classical and folk styles.

Ryan Dillman -

Raised in a musical family, Dillman discovered his love for Bluegrass music at a very young age. He started playing mandolin at eight, and discovered his passion for the Banjo at twelve; a passion that blossomed into a musical journey that has taken him across Canada and the United States. Five-time " Banjo Player of the Year", and three-time "Composer of the Year" at the Eastern Canadian Bluegrass Awards Show, Ryan has performed alongside the best and brightest in the industry, in addition to leading his own group "Ryan Dillman & Shadow River" for many years.

Alberta Brown -

Brown is an up and coming performer who has focused primarily on musical theatre in the past year. Usually found jamming around a campfire on the north mountain or busking at a farmers market, she is no stranger to performing. She’s been singing since she was three and now at fourteen she is journeying into country and folk music with a voice beyond her years and a strong love for beautiful storytelling. This will be her debut performance.
