Learn to Bowl is a Turn-Key program which meets the prescribed curriculum expectations common in most provinces, teaching and reinforcing the FUNDAMENTAL MOVEMENT SKILLS;
Balance, Motor Skills, Stability, Locomotion, Manipulation, Sliding, etc.
Students learn a lifetime sport that promotes an active lifestyle. In bowling, nobody warms the bench and a handicap system ensures that bowlers of all abilities participate on a level playing field.
• BOWLING IS INEXPENSIVE
• NO EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED
• APPROPRIATE AND FUN FOR ALL AGES
Students will participate in 8 fun-filled, hands-on, active lessons learning everything from safety and pin value, to technique and positioning. They will also participate in a mini tournament to help refine their newly learned skills. Upon completion of the course, awards and certificates will be presented along with FREE BOWLING COUPONS and an invitation to join the Youth Bowling League at a special discounted rate.
Classes will be broken into age groups with 5 to 7 year olds participating in one hour lessons each week and 8 to 11 year olds and 12 to 16 year olds participating in two hour lessons each week.
Registration deadline for all age groups is Monday, April 16th, 2012.
Classes run on Wednesday evenings from April 25th to June 13th (times to be arranged according to registration volumes)
5 to 7 year olds - $40 (8 weeks x 1 Hour Lessons)
8 to 11 year olds - $80 (8 weeks x 2 Hour Lessons)
12 to 16 year olds - $80 (8 weeks x 2 Hour Lessons)
Every second and subsequent child registered receives 10% discount.
Price includes bowling fees and shoe rental.
