This event is an excellent opportunity to experience a significant step in the creation of linen - the pulling of the flax. Be a part of the creation of Nova Scotia Linen.
Join us to pull the last of this years flax. Rhea will meet anyone at the farm at 1pm. Wear warm clothes and footwear that can handle the farm (warm and dry). Following the harvest, we will have soup and rolls to warm us up.
Share with friends, plan a road trip, come to TapRoot - let's make some fun in the flax field. It would be so neat to have 100 people in the flax field.
Note: All abilities welcome. However, we do not have wheelchair user accessible washrooms. Certainly, wheelchairs are welcome in the field, and that is possible, so long as the field is not too muddy.
