The Not Dead Yet Collective is a friendship between a video store (Cinematopia) and a bookshop (us!).
On April 24th Books to Film will present George Orwell's "1984" to show support for The United States of Cinema initiative. Earlier in the month, 90 independent cinemas across the United States will screen the film in protest of Trump's proposed funding cuts to cultural programs. It is the sixth in a series of screenings of books made into film.
This event is free - bring your own snacks and drinks! Just remember us when you need books and movies. :) We will have copies available for sale.
