This course is designed for those who are stepping out on their own for the first time or who want to learn how to fuel their bodies and avoid the dreaded "Freshman 15."

The 3-Part series provides a core understanding of nutrition, meal planning and cooking skills (within a challenging environment).

A Community Kitchen is a resource within a community where people can gather to learn how to prepare wholesome nutritious affordable meals. Cooking sessions including training on optimal nutrition, label reading, meal planning on a budget, cooking techniques and more. Community Kitchen clients learn from the facilitator and each other, while building stronger ties within the community.

Conway Workshop Community Kitchen serves the entire community of Digby & the surrounding area. Everyone is welcome to attend our cooking sessions, special cooking classes and workshops.
