Mental Health First Aid is the help provided to a person developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. It is the help provided until appropriate treatment is found or until the crisis is resolved.
The training is a full two-day certification program (April 28-29, 2018) designed to improve mental health literacy, reduce mental health stigma, teach signs and symptoms of mental health problems and provide information about effective interventions and treatments.
