Art on the Hill
Come and experience a day of landscape art with artist Elizabeth Sircom in association with the Atlantic Society for the History of Art.
The day will include sketching sessions, indoors and out, on a site overlooking the Avon River, and a midday art talk on the theme of “Landscapes in Art”:
A multimedia look at classical, natural and endangered spaces, presented by Doug Pope.
For people who would like to improve their outdoor painting and drawing skills.
Aged adult and mature teens, beginners are welcome.
Come equipped with a packed lunch and your favorite painting materials (small format oils also encouraged--there is no walking involved and lots of room to leave things).
For complete beginners a few basic sketching materials will be available.
