Ocean Science Workshops with SuperNOVA
Sunday September 22, 2019  2pm - 3pm (1 Hour)
Workshop / Class

This year public libraries in Nova Scotia are partnering with SuperNOVA in offering their Ocean Science Workshops, for children ages 8-12 as part of Science Literacy Week!
Students will learn about the ocean through a fun, hands-on project and discussion surrounding current ocean issues in an after school drop-in program. We will also highlight local leaders in the marine science community by introducing a Scientist of the Day and a Science Word of the Day and everything we learn will be documented in our very own science journal to take home!
**Space is limited, please call your local library to register or for more information.
