ABOUT THIS YEAR’S GUESTS
Tammy Armstrong (Shag Harbour, NS). Tammy is a poet and novelist. Her poetry collections include Bogman’s Music (2002), Unravel (2004), Take Us Quietly (2006) and The Scare in the Crow (2010). Her new collection, Year of the Metal Rabbit, is being published by Gaspereau Press this fall.
Bren Simmers (Charlottetown, PEI). Bren is the author of two books of poetry, Night Gears (2010) and Hastings-Sunrise (2015), which was a finalist for the City of Vancouver Book Award. Her new book Pivot Point, an account of a wilderness canoe trip, is being published by Gaspereau Press this fall. www.brensimmers.com
Ryan Turner (Halifax, NS). Ryan has published stories in journals such as Prairie Fire, filling station and The New Quarterly. His first collection, What We’re Made Of, was shortlisted for the 2010 ReLit Award. His most recent book, Half-Sisters and Other Stories, is being published by Gaspereau Press this fall.
