The speaker will be artist and author Carolyn Mallory discussing A Whole World at Your Feet: Common Arctic Plants. Arctic plants struggle to survive in the harsh Canadian north. Through myriad adaptations, they reproduce and flourish in this unkind environment. In her talk, Carolyn, who lived in Nunavut for 12 years, will introduce you to some of these incredible plants along with their adaptations. Following her talk, we will have our Xmas social with treats and carol singing. Please bring finger food and your best singing voice! All are welcome.
