There has been a lot of talk about Climate Change over the last 10 years. But, what does that actually mean for Kings County? Find out what is currently being done in the area and how the Municipality of the County of Kings is planning to tackle this challenge.

Presenter: Emily Kennedy
Emily Kennedy is passionate about youth engagement and creating global networks. After leaving a career in sales, she transitioned into a new field - environmental education and social entrepreneurship. A graduate of the first cohort of Acadia's Environmental and Sustainability Studies program, as well as a Masters in Poverty, Conflict and Reconstruction from the University of Manchester, Emily has spent most of the last 5 years in Western and Eastern Africa working on various community projects related to food and water security. Most recently, she can be found closer to home, as the Climate Change Coordinator for the Municipality of the County of Kings.
