A global movement to drink tea, eat cake and discuss death.
Death Cafes were founded in 2011 by Jon Underwood and has since spread to 32 countries across the globe.
There are 5 guiding principles:
1. There is cake and tea
2. A gathering with the intention to discuss death
3. There is no agenda, no dogma and no answers provided. It is simply a conversation about the nature of death in life.
4. Not for profit
5. This is not grief counselling. Resources will be provided for those in need.
