Women's Winter Adventure Weekend

We will adhere to all covid protocols & best practices.

Our coolest season at Ross Creek offers clean air, the dazzling splendour of light and snow, and a new way to experience nature.

With the guidance and support of our environmental educator Jamie MacLean, women from 16-85 will learn basic winter survival skills focusing on fire-making, shelter-building and winter navigation.Women will build confidence and skills in the outdoors, while making new friends, and incredible memories in a cozy winter setting. The weekend will be challenging and a whole lot of fun!

Possible Program Activities:
Mixture of indoor and outdoor activities-
-Focus on beginner winter skills,
including knots and Group experiences.
-Night sky observations
-Natural history explorations including animal tracks and snow
-Shelter Building
-Fire Building
-Cooking Outside
-Beeswax explorations
-Fibre arts/crafts (knitting, crocheting, weaving, etc.)
So much fun!

Itineraries are subject to change for numerous reasons beyond our control including weather and terrain conditions.

Arrival is at 6 pm on Friday, and departure is at 4 pm on Sunday.

All meals are included. Participants will stay in our heated cabins, weather is closely monitored and activities are adjusted based on current weather conditions.

Cost: $225 for individual cabins, $175 each if you share.
