The Blomidon Naturalists Society is hosting a full-day beginner birdwatching course. Great for anyone looking to get into birding in the eastern Annapolis Valley and to learn more about our local natural environment!
Instructor Soren Bondrup-Nielsen will teach participants about basic bird biology, the different groups of birds, and what to look for when trying to identify birds. Some focus will be given to bird guides and apps, and most of the course will be outside!
The course will be hosted up at the beautiful Ross Creek Centre for the Arts, making use of their beautiful space and property, which serves as a superb location for arts and natural history programming.
