Whether you’re new to dance or you’re a committed fan, you’ll be drawn into Festival of Dance Annapolis Royal’s brilliant and beautiful performances. A fixture on Canada’s festival scene, FODAR 2022 presents five days of electrifying dance that pushes boundaries.
Here's the Program Two Lineup
IMPOSTER’S DUET: (World Premiere) A blending of contemporary circus and dance, this work celebrates the slightly eerie, and bizarre magic that follows a glimpse of a figure through a window.
I DREAM IN WAMPUM: Indigenous company A’nó:wara Dance Theatre takes us on a dream journey as we follow a Mohawk youth on a path to discover their ancestors and the Sky World.
THE HIGH HEART: The last work created by Canadian dance icon Patricia Beatty. “…the strongest few minutes of original dance creation witnessed in this city in a long time; the crafting of the work and its execution were stunning." – Deidre Kelly, Critics At Large (Toronto)
DINO: Fall in love with dinosaurs! An absurdist quartet piece from Rock Bottom Movement. “…the quirky weirdos of Toronto’s dance/theatre world that you can’t help but be drawn toward.” – Toronto Star
