Jazz Singer/Songwriter/Band Leader/International Entertainer
“Aurora unveils her musical passions in a voice that is at once expressive, smooth, sultry and powerful” – Canada Music Review
Originally from Annapolis Royal, Aurora is a jazz vocalist, singer-songwriter, dancer, actress, and world class entertainer. With this show she returns to the stage where her entertainment career first began… King’s Theatre!
She will be accompanied by her talented band of Halifax based jazz musicians, including lead guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, Peter Davison. This concert promises to be full of playful banter, original and classic jazz, blues, and other bright sounds.
Miss Aurora Scott dazzles crowds with her sultry vocals, natural elegance, and sophisticated sense of style on cruise ships, at jazz festivals and in luxury hotels across Canada, Australia and in Hong Kong. With Halifax producer, Jamie Robinson, as her key collaborator, she is currently creating a collection of music intended for the stage and studio. Aurora will soon star in Presenting Miss Peggy Lee; a show written by award-winning Canadian playwright, Pamela “Cat” Delaney.
