Around 700AD the Mi’kmaq people sought out semi-precious stones (jasper, quartz and amethyst ) from around the base of Cape Blomidon to craft arrowheads. Now, one thousand three hundred years later you are invited to test your aim at the top of the Cape.
Join Maid Sarah Spencer for the afternoon to learn about bows and arrows and what to do with them. After you hit the bull’s-eye you may roast a hotdog (well, even if you miss the target). This is a family event. Sponsored by the Annapolis Valley Shooting Sports Club and NS DNR. Meet at the Park Office. (*Rain date August 21) 11-2:00pm
