Garden Talk by Nina Newington:
Old Roses and other Fragrant Plants
Smell is essential to a garden of sensual delights.Many of the easiest, hardiest roses are also the most sweetly scented. Most have stood the test of centuries. They pair especially well with herbs such as lavender and valerian.
Beverly McClare will add her thoughts and answer questions about the extraordinary garden she has created over the past twenty years. She will also provide a suitable Tangled Garden treat(( think lavender ice cream...)
Nina Newington M.A. has made her living designing and planting gardens for the past seventeen years. Originally from England, she immigrated to Canada in 2006. She now lives on North Mountain.
Preregistration is required.
