Don't Miss the Cajun Beat at Acadian Day. Balfa Toujours is a well-known Cajun band with deep roots in the soulful music from the bayous of Louisiana. Led by Christine Balfa, daughter of the legendary Cajun fiddler Dewey Balfa, the group has recorded six CDs and taken their youthful creativity and traditional Cajun sounds all over the world.
There will be two performances: 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The performances take place in the big tent beside the statue of Evangeline.
