Reserve Saturday, August 13th, for a trip to Paradise in the Annapolis Valley, to hear the Annapolis Big Band perform the great tunes of the 30’s and 40’s outside under the stars for your listening and dancing pleasure. Beginning at 7:30 pm the band and singer Donna Lynn Holmes will be featured in the 12th annual Moonlight Concert. Come bring lawn chairs and perhaps a picnic and enjoy this live performance of the fabulous music as played by the Big Bands of the time such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey, Glenn Miller and others.
A donation in support of the Paradise Community Hall will be appreciated. Free parking is available on the grounds at Ellenhurst and on site transportation is provided for people needing assistance. The Moonlight Concert is a magical evening of music in a wonderful outdoor setting. Rain date is August 14th. All are welcome to come and enjoy this fine musical group. See you there.
