CentreStage Theatre Presents its Annual Dinner Theatre. Come out September 9th or 10th to the to enjoy a delicious dinner and the very funny No-Frills Revue. Early Vaudeville shows were similar, with a variety of skits, songs, burlesque acts, etc....we thought we'd resurrect that type of show for our Vaudeville theme Dinner Theatre.
No-Frills Revue, a fast and sassy collection of sketches and songs, is directed by and stars Sharon Churchill Roe, Mindy Vinqvist-Tymchuk and Davina Melanson. Sharing the stage are Bob Cook, Bob Melanson, Brian Cottam, Carla MacKenzie, Sarah Waters, and Mary Sponagle.
Help support these two community organizations in the live and silent auctions. Doors open at 5:45 for d'oeuvres, the dinner is at 6:45, the show starts at 8:30 and runs for approximately 1 hour. The meal is a four-course pork dinner.
If you'd like to help support our auctions, we're ready (and grateful) to take donations anytime, just contact Mindy Vinqvist-Tymchuk at mindyvt@gmail.com.
There are two ways to enjoy No-Frills Revue. The show will run in conjunction with CentreStage’s annual dinner theatre with the Glooscap Curling Club on September 9 and 10, or will be playing as 2pm matinees on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18. All matinee seats are $10.
To make reservations for the dinner theatre or the matinee performances, phone 678-8040.
