This is a walking series for women and girls+ 9 years and older to discover the wonder, joy, and connection of the outdoors.
Today, we will meet at Blue Beach (just north of Hantsport on Bluff Rd) and walk on the beach to Penney Beach in Avonport. From there, we can walk back via the road. [Note: there is an easy option for people to shorten the walk by leaving a car at Penny Beach.] Blue Beach is geologically unique; it used to be a Carboniferous forest. We might even find some fossils!
