Would you like to replace all or parts of your lawn with an attractive pollinator meadow? This half-day workshop at an urban home will begin with a guided tour, including an area where lawn is being replaced with a strip meadow. The tour will be followed by an indoor presentation on making urban meadows, with ample time for questions. Refreshments will be served. A limited amount of native plants will be available for purchase.

This workshop will be co-presented by Carole Donaldson and Rosslyn MacKay, both members of The Butterflyway Project, a national project of the David Suzuki Foundation that has been adopted by the Blomidon Naturalists Society.

Time: 1:30-4:00 pm

Location: Home of Carole Donaldson (Wolfville) (address will be sent to participants who have completed their registration)
