Bridgetown Band Parents Association - Senior Band Trip commitee has invited Premier Wine & Spirits of Halifax to help us host a wine tasting. They will provide us with samples of up to 35 wines and a couple beers. This event will be held at the Bridgetown Volunteer Fire Department's new hall on November 5, 2011. Sampling will begin at 7:30 pm. Please check out their website for details on the types of wine they carry. Premier Wines & Spirits will gladly take your orders that night, or within two weeks of the event. http://premierwines.ca/store/
Orders will be delivered locally for pick up.
Tickets are $25/person and only available to those 19 years of age or older. Please contact Wanda Batson 584-2285 or Donna Rice 665-5269 for tickets, or any band parent or member you know who is involved in the planning of the trip.
As this is a fund raiser, we will also have Cheesecake by the slice - $2 - that will compliment the night, and a silent auction. Mark Bezanson will provide us with musical entertainment to set the festive mood.
Trip members & parents are fundraising for the 2012 Band trip to Ottawa. This is an educational exchange with Bell High in Ottawa. We have been raising funds for 3 years, and are working towards a goal of $30,000 for extra activities. Please come out and support the local Senior Band raise funds for their trip of a lifetime!
