Canning Winter Walk Day- As part of Recreation Nova Scotia's Take the Roof Off Winter, Canning Walkabout and Canning Recreational Commission are holding a Winter Walk/Snowshoe event on Sunday, February 12th. Meet at Glooscap Elementary School parking lot between 12:30pm and 12:50pm to register. We will be leaving to walk/snowshoe along the Bigelow Trail at 1:00pm. A limited number of snowshoes will be available from Canning Rec.
This is a family event and everyone is welcome. There will be draws for prizes for those who register at the event.
Storm date is February 19th-same time, same place.
