As part of Recreation Nova Scotia's Take the Roof Off Winter, Canning Winter Walk/Snowshoe Day will take place on Feb 19th (weather permitting). Meet at Glooscap Elementary parking lot to register between 12:30 and 1:00pm, walk will start at 1:00. There will be a limited number of snowshoes available to borrow. Those who register will be entered in draws for prizes prior to the walk. For info, contact Julie at 582-3602 or Stephanie at 582-2033.
