Come celebrate International Women's Day at the "Sister's in Steel" event. Come out to Annapolis Royal Market Square and the King's Theater and witness a celebration of women in blacksmithing. There will be "open anvil" teaching demonstrations, a gallery of Maritime women's ironwork, along with lectures and workshops throughout the day. There will be featured artist blacksmiths such as Becky Little, Barbara Schmeisser and Alexa Jaffurs. As well, evening preformances by singer and song writers Anna Fearon, Karen Robinson, Mel Ferrimond and Celtic & Classical Harp player Alys Howe.
