Time once again for the annual Shore Line Yard Sale from Morden to Hall's Harbour. The communities of Morden, Burlington, Harbourville and Black Rock will set up, rain or shine and there will be yard sales stretching along the main drag between the four communities, as well as flea-market-style tables around each community centre.
The feast starts in Mordon, where the community will serve its famous fishcake breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m.
Continue on to Burlington, where a canteen will be serving up cold drinks and hot dogs and Harbourville starts selling lobster rolls at 11 a.m. until they sell out. Finally, Black Rock puts on a dessert spread, with strawberry shortcake and carrot cake.
Maps can be picked up at community centres in all four communities. Lutz says the money raised from the meals goes back into the communities, to help maintain their community centres, among other things.
